Sports Services Branch Office

Sports activities, which play a crucial role in promoting the physical and mental well-being of our students and fostering a society resilient to challenges and free from harmful habits, have continued extensively at our university during this academic year. These activities are carried out under the supervision of the General Coordination of Sports Clubs, operating within the Health, Culture, and Sports Department, in collaboration with affiliated clubs.

Our Sports Facilities

• Multipurpose Sports Hall
  Our hall is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and accommodates all sports disciplines. The Fırat University Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall not only hosts university sports competitions but also serves as a venue for other sports events.

• Outdoor Sports Fields
  Basketball hoops in our outdoor sports fields have been upgraded to shatterproof acrylic backboards through sponsorship support.

• Grass Football Field
  Our grass field, located on the Engineering Campus, meets standard dimensions. It also features an athletics track. The field is utilized for various purposes, including amateur matches, competitions organized by our university, and occasionally, national team tryouts.

• A sports complex in front of the Faculty of Medicine, including volleyball, basketball, football, and tennis courts.

• Beach Volleyball Court

• A sports complex in front of the Indoor Sports Hall, including volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts.
