What is SKS?
The Health, Culture, and Sports Department aims to provide services that ensure the protection of university students' physical and mental health, the treatment or referral of those who are ill, and support in areas such as accommodation, nutrition, study, rest, and utilizing their extracurricular time according to their interests. It also seeks to offer opportunities for students to explore new interests, improve both their health and social conditions, and foster the healthy development of their talents and personalities. In line with these objectives, the department was established under Articles 46 and 47 of Law No. 2547 on Higher Education, as amended by Law No. 2880.
The Health, Culture, and Sports Department serves as a healthcare institution for all university stakeholders. Additionally, it functions as a service unit that addresses students' social and cultural counseling, guidance, and sports needs. This department also conducts activities to support education and training, serving as a center for implementing and conducting research in these areas.
